No one had ever ventured off Hinky Fluff Island before. In fact, traveling never appealed to anyone living there because they had everything they wanted: food, perfect weather, surf, sand, city life, and nature. Then one day, the Cheezbourg Naturalist Society approved funding for cataloguing the yet unknown flora and fauna of Yang-Pa Island, a tiny onion-shaped island just southeast of Hinky Fluff. Yet, little did they know just what they'd discover on that island!
Yang-Pa held animals that crossed the line between flora and fauna. Carrots that blinked at you and nipped you with their bunny teeth, Tofu people who bounded to the researchers with no fear, eggplants that bounced, eggs that fried themselves, and many more strange living foodstuffs!
These carrotbunnies, known as Plinkies, were observed digging themselves out of the ground with their teeth, lifting themselves out with their strong leaf head, and wiggling away as far as 10 meters to find other carrotbunny companions.
